well, it keeps the glare off the hood from the roof lights, and a new use I found for it in that pond I was stuck in, When I put my foot on the hood to put a winch hook on my Runner, it didnt scratch the paint, and it was grippy....its Ultra Flat, so it has a grip texture too it, so I didnt slip. Good reasons?

The snorkel looks great man. I have always wanted to put one on my truck. I'm sure that I will buy one eventually for the truck, but I'm planning on doing an engine sway in a couple years, so doing it now wouldn't make sense. I like the look of your 4Runner. Keep up the good work.

I will go with the anti glare as a great reason. I hate glare but I havent used the lights your talking about. It would be nice on just about any car that you can see the hood on.

Thanks guys....Yeah, even if you didnt have lights up there, when its super sunny out, there is nothing bouncing off the hood into my eyes either.

4.56 w\ auto came with 235 75 15's or optional 31x10.50x15's! I have a 94 22re auto 4x4 with 4.56's that came from factory with 31's! I have since went to a 32x11.50x15(Cooper Discover STT's) with no lift(had to flaten the seam about four inchs to not scrub) and have yet to have a drop in gas mileage! It runs seventy on highway and rpms are not quite as high! Just my .02

trx, actually, the 31" tire option on a V6 auto came with 4.88 gears. And mine runs around 3 grand at 70. Plus, I need to boot it out of overdrive to make it up mountains on the interstate. Oh well, It offroads like a beast.

Crazy...nice runner man...they do look pretty close.
