I need some information..... Actually it is a part name and what does it do..... !!
I have a 1989 Toyota 4x4 Pickup with a 3vz 3.0 EFI motor and I just want to know the name o a part and what function does it have..

 

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve. By adding a tiny amount of exhaust to the intake manifold at the right time, it reduces combustion temperatures, inhibiting the formation of Nitrogen oxides (NOx). Keeping us all alive.
