Parking light relay makes whining sound
88 Pickup 22r - I am having electrical trouble with my OEM parking lights. Specifically, my parking lights relay clicks fast, makes a whining noise, whenever I turn on the light switch on the stalk.
On further investigation, it seems the power leads to dome, hvac fan, and parking lights are shorted to ground. None of these devices function properly.
The onset of these problems were intermittent and gradual. Now the dysfunction is stable and total.
It's rained heavily since the onset, but I haven't found any water damage or dampness in the affected areas.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My guess would have been a bad ground somewhere. but if you have a short to ground than you're blowing fuses. I'd start looking at wiring connections made to the existing harness on that circuit with the blown fuse(s))
