Parking break snapped on 92 PUP

The damn cable snapped right at the handle... Which I guess is comforting. Atleast someone didn't sabatoge it outside.

Anyways.

Can I just replace the cable, or do I need a whole new brake assembly?

you should be able to get the cable seperate. and you may check to see if the levers at the backing plates arent seized up.

You can pick up just the front cable as a separate part at the dealer.

mine snapped in the same place.

38 us for a new one online.
