Wow. When I first scrolled down and saw the purple... I'm trying to figure out who would prefer the purple over the original blue.
Thank you for saving another blue truck. My favorite color. You did a great job!

Looks great! Im going to be painting my 88 here this year, any helpful tips as to unique efforts you made to get it to come out this nice? Anything special to note about this body style that made it hard/easier?

Thanks every one!!
I do have access but not the money
this paint and clear can easily be sanded within a couple of days even with out a bake cycle. But yea its gonna look so good after! Gonna focus on getting my motor in first
Watch as many youtube videos as you can to learn proper gun techniques, block sanding a guide coat is crucial if you have any dents or lows it will show every thing, and take your time don't rush any thing. If you want to PM me questions dont hesitate!
Thanks, every thing from the doors back has been bolted up. I went out of town and need a few odd clips. Im waiting to install my motor before I put the grill and front end together!

I've got a question I think I already know the answer to. Is there any way to treat or polish out sun damaged clearcoat? My factory metallic blue pickup is badly sun bleached. I saw one guy use linseed oil on a red truck, and it actually worked.

What no runs???? looks great! yeah, I always like them to sit for at least 30 days before I color sand. I'm assuming you used acrylic enamel. It seems that it gives a better shine. And you didn't get lazy on the wiper tray, you removed it, yeah!!!!
