I'm painting my rims too. About half done. What brand of paint did you use? Also, did you have any issues with the lug nuts cutting and scraping away some of the fresh paint?

I did about 6 or 7 coats on mine and let it sit 12+ hours, and when I tightened the lug nuts the paint was being cut into.

Best to let the rims sit in the sun for a day or two, lets the paint harden.

I used wheel paint when I did my steelies, some of its comming off but its mostly there. Not bad for two years use

damn....now i gotta repaint mine...and take some time doin it too..lol..

i paint mine all in one day..just masked off the tire..and went at it..

now im going to get em media blasted..tape off all of the beads (AR outlaw II's..the little beads on the inside) and probably tape off all the holes..and the outside lip...and maybe another part..idk..lol

i gots to get more creative now that you've done this

GREAT job..i think you need put a couple more coats on it..then a couple coats-o-clear..lol
