OME torsion bar q's??

Ok, so I know they're from Australia........

Are the bars actually marked for LHD or RHD trucks? One bar has LH and one has RH marked on it. Do I install as is or swap it as we live in the Northern Hemisphere?

Also the ends are painted different colors. What gives??

Mike

For your use, RH and LH is universal and has nothing to do with where the steering wheel is. The bars should be the same rate anyway.

I have a set of the OME's in my garage. Maybe I got instructions with mine...

Great to hear on the brackets! Glad they are working out!

Not sure about that. Doesn't the water spin the other direction down the drain down there Mate? Just kiddin'. Makes no difference.

side point: Hawks are going all the way Baby!

i just put my OME t-bars on a while ago and they didn't come with any instructions...

i figured the colored ends were just to help keep L from R straight. i ended up painting mine flat, rust-proof black anyhow.

they ride excellent so far.

just FYI: i also just noticed the other day that downey (according to their website) is now selling 24mm t-bars. i believe they only used to sell the 26mm.

the OMEs are 23.4mm.

They might be physically in Detroit, but that's where it ends. Don't worry, we'll take you in as a fan when the Seachickens go down in flames...
