Oil Pressure

Oil Pressure
I went wheeling today and on the return trip I noticed that I had almost no oil pressure ( per dash gauge) but it ran fine. The trip was really bumpy with some hills and the truck has been on level surfaces like more than 90 percent of the time cuz its my DD.! My question is should I be concerned that the gauge in dash says low oil pressure if it runs fine and I have no leeks.?
P.S.

I'd start by checking that the connector to the sender is still attached. Of course, with a "bumpy" ride you could break the wiring anywhere. (For that matter, you could also break the hose on a manual gauge just as easily.)
As wyoming9 says, oil pressure is a "good thing." Never ignore a warning about it.

started up fine this morning and ran like a champ like Toyota does and everything returned to normal, but just in case where can I find the oil pressure sending unit on a 3vzE

Replaced many broken wires on these sending units. So for a "stupid" question. If it showed no oil pressure why not just pull over and double check the oil dipstick just in case?
