So, tearing my intake off there is coolant in the intake. Any ideas? It has to be from the throttle body hose that comes into it. Does that have a gasket?

There are multiple coolant passages that navigate through the intake manifold.
Unless we are talking about coolant in the air intake passages and the intake ports in the cylinder head....
Then you may have some issues there...

When we took the upper plenum off there was coolant sittin in the intake runners of the lower plenum. He had been sayin that he was smelling coolant (sweet smell) after driving it but no leaks than i found that coolant sitting in the lower intake and the intake ports were pretty clean (steam cleaned by the coolant?). I know there is a water tube that bolts to the under side of the lower intake but the coolant was sitting above that so i am assuming (we all know what happens when you do that) that it was coming from the coolant that circulates through the TB?

Doesn't the coolant circulate through the head? Wouldn't a crack in the head let coolant drain back into the intake manifold?
This is why the Machine Shop will perform a pressure test on the head.

Coolant in the intake manifold air intake passages could indicate a number of leak areas:
-Cracked/damaged Cylinder Head
-Cracked/damaged Cylinder Block
-Cylinder head gasket
-Lower Intake manifold gasket to cylinder head leak(s)
-Cracked/damaged intake manifold
Coolant leaking from the throttle body into the intake is unlikely but possible if the throttle body is damaged or cracked.
Unless of course is was "spillage" during disassembly... but also mentioned "clean" intake passages...

Well we pulled it out, got it all put back together and in. Runs great. Still has a leak. I do now know where it's coming from though. So there is a small crack in the timing cover. Probably from the "hidden bolt" by the timing chain being over tightened. So I need to replace that.

I tried to cover it with JB weld ( I know it's lazy) just to get by with it till I order a cover. But it's not really working. Couldn't reach the whole thing without taking off the power steering belt and bracket.

No it's not that big it just wraps around (kinda hard to explain) and I could only reach half of it without taking some stuff apart. I'm just going to order a timing cover and replace it.
