OEM steel spare rim width

Couldn't search a definitive answer. Is it 6" or 7" wide?

I need a rim for my spare but it's a 33x12.5 tire. Will that shoehorn on a 6" rim?

Thanks,

For what year of vehicle, and what vehicle? Even then, you may wind up just having to measure it.

That tire will not fit right on a 6" rim. 10.50" at the widest.

Sorry, I thought this generation was all the same. It's the steelie from a 1990 4Runner I think. It's got a 31x10.5 on it right now so tought to measure

the OEM rim will be stamped with the width.

I think my cruiser rims were 15 JJ 6 (6 being how wide)

I saw that on the alloy wheels but not the OEM steelie. I take a better look when I can but hopefully someone on here knows for certain.

If your runner came with 31's on 7" rims, most likely you have a 7" spare. I'd know for certain if I could see your spare rim.....<<<pic?

It'll be stamped on the inside of the steel wheel as well (DOT regulation):

12.5 is WAY too wide for that rim.

It's just for a spare, if it can be physically mounted I think I'd go for it

From the way the 10.50 tire fits, I'd say it's a 7". See a stamp?
