Question Is this normal?

I have a 94 Toyota minitruck with a 22re in it. If I take the oil cap off the valve cover, it has air pressure that comes out. If I place my hand elevated roughly 6 inches above the oil cap hole, my hand gets misted with oil while running. Is this normal or a sign of something. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the reply. I guess this is one of those that I should have just tried searching, but I honestly thought it wouldn't show any results by search words I was thinking of. Oh well, live and learn. None the less, thanks. I had some loser mechanic tell me that it wasn't normal at all and it kinda freaked me out a bit. A big apology for the wasted thread!
