Hey guys...please don't flame because I'm new.

On the brake booster vacuum line (22RE engine), there is a little white plastic piece that has an "E" with an arrow on it. Which way is the arrow supposed to point, towards the engine or towards the master cylinder?

I'm guessing "E" is for engine, is that correct? I just want to be sure...

 

Its a one-way check valve that points toward the engine as you have described.

 

So the "E" should be upside down, as long as the arrow points towards the engine I have installed it correctly?

 

IT's the arrow direction that's important.
