NO......he is a mechanical engineer selling good value parts. His cam shafts are his design and dyno tested. Beats the hell out of some goober selling you the cheapest crap he can find....Highly recommend.

All you have to do is look at EB's ebay feedback rating, currently over 10,000 feedback score and 100% positive.

I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with Ted, but that's the first time I've heard that he was mech. engineer. Not really here nor there, just that I learned something new today.

Oh yeah, he sells cams for the 22R. Maybe you have a V6? Here's the head I got from him, a Topline RV/Street with O/S valves and his 261C cam.

he quoted me a great price for his kit so I am going to jump all over that and he also pretty much diagnosed my problem just through the e-mail i sent him.

ok, i have another question.

I know you said his parts anre great and top of the line, BUT has anyone had any problems after rebuilding their engines or do they run like new,etc...?

Does that make sense? It sounds right in my head but is hard to put down into words.

Well, it's relative. My engine feels stronger so far, but it's only got around 500 miles on it now and I haven't really abused it and haven't been off road with it. I can tell you it's not like I'm driving a small block, but it feels strong for a 22R-E. I have a stock bottom end and stock compression, so any power increase is only the cam, oversize valves and header. Where it seems to make the biggest difference to my seat is from about 3000 to 4000 RPM, pulls pretty well there. It's a ton of fun to drive, that's for sure, though! But without a turbo, no 22R is going to feel anything like a bigger V6.

I rebuilt last fall with engbuilder and all their stuff worked good for me. Prices were reasonable, delivery prompt.

Only problem was a miss sized o-ring, which I solved at Ace for 59 cents.

the quality of the parts used is only going to be as good as the knowledge of the mechanic!!

I'll add the predictable pile of replies here =)

Ted's been great for me. Has answered all my questions and I got his timing chain kit and front engine cover.

AAA+++++++ lol

I just needed a little bit more. I have an automatic and we all know how they are. I have lc headers, hi-flow cat,and a flowmaster, so hopefully the cam will complement these very well. I guess it couldn't hurt, right?
