No start, fuel injectors not fireing.

Just installed a new engine. System was working fine when the rebuild began. Now the new engine is not starting. I have confirmed there is spark and the fuel pump is working with the rails full of fuel, but I have also confirmed there is no fuel present in the cylinders.
I read somewhere on this site that there is a system or sensor on the 2nd gen that will disable the fuel injectors if not met. Does anyone know off hand what that is???

Yes, All lines are back to their original locations they came off of. Is there a line that will effect the injectors?
I have a clear line on the pressure return so I can see the fuel in the line and it's hooked up and has fuel in it.

I believe the ECU is not telling the injectors to fire. Maybe something like a relay or sensor, but I am not seeing anything on the schematic.
The engine is cranking normal and I can see the spark in a timing light. When I pull the plugs they are dry and when I scope the cylinders they are dry as a bone. I have a clear fuel return line and there is fuel moving in the line.

Is there voltage at the injectors??

There should be power there any time the ignition is on 'run'.

The ECU grounds the circuit in order to fire the injectors.

I will have to check power to the injectors tomorrow and I will try to ground a plug the make sure there is no spark as well. I did find that at this point I was wrong and there seems to be no spark as well. There is power at the ECU and the coil, but when I put a timing light on plug 1 and crank the engine there is no light flash Before I pulled the engine it was running fine. The only sensor I changed was the cold start sensor and the coolant temp sensors which the manual says does have something to do with the injectors. Could the new sensors lock out the spark and/or injectors?

Crimps connecting negative side of injectors to pins 10 and 20 of ECU (enclosed in red) could have been broken during the rebuild.

I have a 3.0, but it should be the same as far as the injectors being hot.
I am also wondering if maybe the new coolant temp sensor could be bad. Do you know if there is no signal from the coolant sensor if the ECU will shut down the EFI and ignition?
I will be checking voltage shortly and will post results.

Found the problem. The wire on the igniter module broke. Then when I fixed it three more broke off.
All fixed now and running great. Strongest 3.0 I have done so far.

I don't believe so. Having said that, if there's no signal from the CTS, the ECU won't provide the correct settings as far as mixture goes, and may not be providing a mixture that will function, or function properly, under all conditions exstant.

Good luck!
