I was going to start my 4runner this morning and it did not start. I cheked the spark and there was only one spark and there was not a line of sparks like there should be. I tried again to start it at about noon and it started up barley and almost died but i pressed the gas pedal and it seemed to help and it dint die, but now my 4runner is starting up fine. Do i need a new ignitor or is it something else?

 

When was the last time you performed a minor tuneup on it? You know, how old are the distributor cap and rotor, plug wires, and even the plugs?
