No Power to Fuel Pump Please help!
Hello,
I have a 1997 Toyota 4runner and My fuel pump is not getting power. I have replaced the EFI relay, CO Relay, After already replacing the fuel pump, so I tested the old one and she spins right up. Now I'm at a loss as my check engine light comes on and it really trys to start but with no fuel it just turns over and over. any advice?? ECU is what i am left with but im not certain my issue. Thanks for any help!

Just what engine please
You have checked the Fuses 7.5 ignition 15amp EFI
On both the 4 and 6 cylinder engine the fuel pump circuit is pretty much the same.
You checked the your new relays worked?? That they were correct?
The green/Yellow wire grounds the coil of the COR in the ECM
At this point you have checked all connections made sure nothing is corroded.
Fuses are tight in the sockets
Just when did this start??

The AFM is what keeps the pump on and running the once you start. Verify that it is hooked up and working correctly. I had one that would run if I held the afm door all the way open. But if I closed it then it would not supply fuel pump with power.

There's a separate forum for '96+ 4Runners; you might get better luck there.
As mudpunisher says (and the others implied), this is a job for a multimeter. Replacing relays and pumps without diagnosing is a complete waste of time and money.
