sorry been a while since I checked this, I only had death wobble when I mounted my 39.5's and didn't balance them. Went away after I balanced them. The clunking could be the front driveshaft CV. They don't like having much of an angle without clearancing them and having the front end lifted 4-6" on new springs plus a regular low pinion 3rd pretty much maxes them out. My front end still clunks but I'm pretty sure it's just from that double cardan wearing out.
I've lowered the truck down about 4" and added 1.5" wheel spacers all around. Drives so much better. Front end still needs some bumpstop and shock tweaking. Also still need to get around to tubbing the firewall.

Started a bed bob/frame chop today. Hanging the shackles off the back of the frame as well. Got about half done.
Taking out 15"

overheated and finished off the already iffy head gasket last week. rather than bandaid the 250k bottom end with a new HG I picked up this crap today.

Freshly rebuilt 22ret long block.

The bad, turbo shaft has play so I'll be rebuilding or finding a ct26. Also the exhaust manifold is cracked and was repaired and cracked again so I'll have to figure that one out too.

The guy took just about everything from the turbo 4 runner and it now resides in these boxes, even the digital dash.

To stop the crack for
Spreading dril a small hole at each end of the crack, then do like what's his name said and put it in the oven and heat up then break out the welding. Just think you could have the old lady serve it to you on a cookie sheet from the kitchen to the garage then you could lay a bead

The bumper was a prebent/cut tube kit from frontier 4x4 and I used a trailgear winch plate to build off of.
I also read that drilling holes along the crack itself in addition to the ends and putting steel pins in before welding also was a good idea? I haven't looked at the turbine housing on the ct20 yet but I'm guessing it's cracked by the wastegate as well.

Dang man, When I saw that tree sitting there on the back of your truck my heart sank. Your determination is admirable but mabey your nickname should be the heartbreak kid.
But seriously, Sweet rig bro, keep it up.
