I just bought a 87 4Runner. I have the diverside window switch working great now after a little rework. I am still having issues with the passenger side. It will not work at all. The window motor is good on the passenger side it goes up and down with drivers switch. I dont seem to have power to the passenger switch. I have looked at the fuse block for the window realy and can not find the relay there. I also took out the door lock controller and the windows still worked. What am I missing?

 

I ended up pulling the switch apart and bent the contacts a little bit. You might have to go back and forth untill you get it right. It will also play with the driver side so check it after you get done to make sure both sides work.

 

I bent the contacts on both switchs but maybe they need more. After I worked on the drivers switch the windows went up a lot better.

 

You might also try fine sandpaper on the contacts

 

X2. I had to do the same thing with my master control switch. I also used a little alcohol to clean the contacts. Works pretty well.
