New truck, no jack..

My 87 is new to me, and did not come with a complete jack kit. Any recommendations for a road jack kit? I've seen scissor style and bottle-jacks.

i was amazingly suprised in how great of a road kit the factory put together
i have used mine on countless occasions and has never failed me, best bet for missing peices is to head to your local junkyard and look in the Toyota 4x4s and put together a set...i did this and got 3 complete sets..and the best part, free!

a small bottle jack would be fine and if you dont have the long rod with the hook your not getting the tire down

Any idea of the cross-compatibility with Land Cruiser jack kits?

I ask because..

BTW, I ask about cross compatibility because I have a few components from the 87 4x4 jack kit. I'm missing the bottle jack and rod though.

everything on that link looks the same as 4runner/pickup kits, so i would say they are compatible...looks expensive for brand new though
