I was surfin around pirate and look what i found!!!! this is gonna be so freakin sweet, front end digs without an atlas! I cant wait to see the cost. It runs on air and if you go through the pirate thread it is stated that an ARB compressor can run it or even a small air tank. I know im pumped about it and it would go sick with an SAS and dual cases. just figured I would share it with you guys

 

I'd think running a twin stick on a stock t-case would be easier and do the same thing. Looks cool though.

 

Twin sticks only give you rear wheel drive though. this gives you front wheel drive so you can use the front tires to turn in a VERY small radius while the back tires keep you still

Not true (I think). Twins gives you the option of either front or rear drive, front or rear low/high. One stick activates the front the other activates the rear.... unless I'm confused on that.

I think its- one stick gives you front high/neutral/low and the other gives you rear high/neutral/low.

 

nahhh, with twin sticks one stick controls the high/neutral/low and the other one controls the 2wd/4wd. they allow you to have a 2 low instead of only 4 low. to my knowledge the only transfer cases that behaves like you said is an Atlas. if twin sticks did that then this would be 100% useless.

Yep, on the stock t-case or even duals, the rear is always turning since there would be no reason to disconnect it - twin sticks just let you control 4WD and Hi-Low separately so you can do 2LO if you want (which you can do by unlocking the front hubs anyway)

 

but who wants to get out and unlock the hubs every time you want 2 low??? lol
