yea any closer it would burn the paint off, i am using the old flowmaster that hs been on the truck for at least 7 years , yea i wish it was tucked in more but i wheeled it pretty hard on the rocks with out any problems so far

I'm gonna do this same setup, but with the tip welded like it is, it won't allow your exhaust to flex when you wind your motor up or rev the out of it... so thats not good, plus It rattles/vibrates the crap outa everything on the frame doesn't it? My exhaust is in the normal location and it vibrates on occasions at about 2k rpm.. How did you cut the hole exactly? thanks for the feedback, if I get any
