Well, I bit the bullet on these and got my truck some new shoes. I was running the Mickey Thompson Baja Claws and they were just a bit too agressive a tire for daily driving. Don't get me wrong, I loved them but I wasn't doing them any justice driving pavement for the majority of the time.

I got the GY Authority 31 X 10.5 15's from Wally world. As I get more miles on them I'll report back on how they work.

one of my buddies has the Authority's on his Tacoma..and he can NOT get it stuck in the mud...at all..period..

on the road they are ALOT better than the Michelins he had before.

i have PC X-terrains..lol

 

They look really good. I was looking at them the other day at my walmart, but they didn't have a price on them, so if you don't mind me asking, how much were they out the door.

 

$130 per tire; plus some other fees tacked on after that + tax.

$580ish out the door.

Yeah, these things are really quiet on the road...compared to the Baja Claws...lol.

How are they in the wet? I've found a lot of M/T tires SUCK on wet pavement....makes the drive to work a little TOO exciting....

Michigan. Fortunately the truck get's stored for the winters and doesn't see snow! I may take it out every once in a while but for the most part it's under a cover in storage.

 

I have the GY AUTHORITY on my 2002 4runner limited, its only 2wd and i do not get stuck in mud with these tires! they work miracles!
