New radiator question?

The factory radiator in my 86 tojo 4runner just took a dive it seems to be leaking from the fins on the back side between the fan schroud. My question is who makes a good aftermarket radiator? If i was to buy one I would like to upgrade seeing that is how I like to do it when something fails I like to replace with something better. So what is a good upgraade and where is a good place to pick one up???

Thanks

Sean

Well Its going to be hard to find a radiator better than the factory Toyota rad, but it can be done for about $500. If your looking for something more in the $120-140 range with a lifetime warranty go with the radiatorbarn.com or radiator.com. If you really want to upgrade go with a custom aluminum racing rad. http://www.alumrad.com/

Get a 3-row heavy duty radiator (same as used in the turbos), probably runs under $150.00 for the on-line radiator places. I run a GoDan in my '85:

Radiator

I got a new one from Radiator.com for mine about 6 months ago and it is a nice rad. , didn't have one made by Modine (told ya I am old school hehe) but still has a lifetime warranty and only cost $128 and went right in like OEM .

I put a 3-row aftermarket in my '91 22RE truck and it worked fine, except on freeway on a hot day, the temp gauge would rise. Replaced that w/ a stock, actual Toyota 2-row and, it never runs hot while driving--any condition.
