Jkelley429, I like that someone offered you $6000, and then asked you why you would want to keep that piece of junk....if it was a piece of junk, why did they want to pay $6000 for it!

Diablo22RE, that is a nice looking pickup! I probley would make you an offer if I had the money!

shaeff, thank you!

BT17R, I love your 79! When and where was that picture taken?

sechott, heh, it got attention.

Whiplash, it's Watch Hill, Westerly, Rhode Island where I lived. That's snow on the beach, the Atlantic is just left. It's a beautiful sandy beach in Summer, the Nor'easters wash in Winter rocks.

It's a nunnery. The other places are owned either by Wall St. or Providence mobsters.

That truck was clean inside and out, I don't think I would have been able to let it go despite the engine issues.

The guy I bought my 89 pickup from wanted it back so bad he called me out of the blue one day and offered to buy it back at a higher price than he sold it. It ain't leaving my possesion.

Man I miss my '90...it's sitting in the driveway though.

Bought it BONE stock when I was 16 (second owner) and I'll never sell it. Had some ridiculously high offers on it too.

I would have never thought about selling mine till this happened.

Some idiot ran into it while parked in front of my house.

Found this though after a few weeks of looking. I think I can never live without a Toyota truck.

If I could only go back in time.....things would be different!

I am not surprised to hear that....I am almost thinking about doing the same thing!

I stilll have my 94 regular cab but since i graduated and have a higher paying job i went and bought a fj cruiser. Minus a few blind spots that i have gotten used to the the fj is 100% better dd, the power is amazing compared to my eb head and cam 22re, merging onto the freeway is no longer like playing frogger. I know if i sell my 94 i will regret not have truck to run lowes and home depot and its great for hunting and embarrassing jeeps on the trail. but if i could have only one it would be the fj. and its averging 19-22mpg same mpg that i was getting with my 22re

Just like everyone else here is saying, my truck is such a pile compared to this. But it's still awesome and I love it. The cab was in a salvage yard I'm pretty sure before I bought it. Needless to say, it's probably the dirtiest thing ever but at least i've got a yota.

Cheers!

I would never dream of getting rid of Blue Boy. He was my first truck, i always wanted a blue toyota with the white "TOYOTA" on the tail gate. ive put way too many motors and cash into this thing but i learned everything i know mechanically on this beast and for that reason alone i could never get rid of it! He hates me and breaks down all the time for various reasons but i cant help but love him anyway.. i feel the same way about my squareback.. and yeah that black truck has a freaking SWEET interior. and exterior for that matter that thing was a GEM!
