Needs pics of stock 4x4 4runner IFS

If you're 19.5" to the centre, on a 15" rim, then your height from the rim lip to fender is 12", which is 3.5" lower than the above-quoted spec. Now wonder it rode bad, you ARE on the bumpstops.
Aftermarket torsion bars are supposedly much stiffer than stock, as they are intended for use with an aftermarket winch bumper, which and other 4wd gear. On a stock truck, those bars are too heavy.
Anyone know if the OEM t-bars were different between the 3VZ-E and 22RE, the V6 has got to be heavier.

OEM torsion is 22.8
OME is 23.5
Downey is 26mm
I'm thinking of going for the OME bars, I don't think the Toyota replacements will be less than 160 for a pair. I'm also trying to fix the rear springs at the same time with the OME900's, their "soft" version but can't find how much this will raise the rear. Stay tuned.
No sooner do I say that then the search function shows me your post with YOUR OME900's giving you 1.5" of lift. I'd really like something right around the 1" mark.
