Need to lower my truck back to original height
What will I need to re-adjust when I take the 3" body lift off my truck? I suspect the steering linkage, clutch linkage, anything else? Also, What goes between the frame mount and the bed. Right now it's just the 3" hard plastic piece, was there a rubber washer or something originally? There is rubber under the hard plastic piece at the cab but not the bed.
Thanks for any help on this.

I installed an RB 1" BL not too long ago on my truck. There were some approx. 1 1/2" square fiber reinforced rubber washers . . . . about 1/8" (or less) thick between the bed and the frame rail. I can only guess about what collateral mods were done when the 3" BL was installed. You might check out Roger's website (4Crawler) and review the list of mods that he outlines might be necessary with such a lift. Then you can evaluate better what might have been done on your truck that would require restoration to original. (I'm assuming based on your question that you didn't install the BL yourself.)

Nope, bought it this way. It seems the deeper I look the more I find wrong with this truck, I just discovered a broken leaf...
Thanks for the reply on this, I didn't think there would be much there between the bed and frame. I'll most likely put something like hard plastic in there and tighten it down good.

They will probally be metric bolts, and I dont know if they are 8.8..I know some people prefer to run grade 5 since they have more flexibility, which is needed when articulating.
When I put a 3" body on my ranger (yeah yeah), I didnt remove anything just put the spacers in. Had to weld bed spacers in under the support brackets..There is a gap (1/8"), also there was a steering column spacer, shifter spacer, and radiator drop bracket.
Good call on removing the BL, anything over 1" is bad IMO.
