Unhappy Need Help Installing New 3vze

I just bought a new motor for my 1990 yota pickup automatic 3.0. I am having trouble marrying the engine and transmision. I dont know if something is hitting or in the way, i have clearance around the crossover. The only thing i am not 100% sure on is my install of the flywheel, does anyone have a picture of yours you could post to see if mine in on correctly. There is an a 1/2 inch the teeth stick out and the otherside the plate is welded directly to the teeth it is very hard to explain. i have the weld marks torwards the motor. Any help will be greatly appreciated since i spent 6 hours trying to install the motor you guys are my last resort and probably should have been my first.

Automatics use flexplates, not flywheels.

You also need to make sure the torque converter in the trans is seated properly. Once you set it on the input shaft, it has to click down TWICE before it will be far enough in. With the converter seated all the way, it shouldn't be touching the flex plate when you install the engine to the trans. This allows you to spin the converter to line it up with the bolt holes.

Yes i have searched and found threads for installing the tourque converter it is in all the way. im asking about the "flex plate" (sorry). I was not the one who took it off and therefor dont know what way it goes back on all i need is a picture. Does anyone have a picture of there motor out of the truck that shows the proper way the flex plate goes?
