Need help to diagnose a noise.

Started making this purring sound after a lengthy road trip. Can seem to hear it from under the hood, only while inside the cab. The noise goes away after hitting about 3k rpm. Take a listen in the video. Would be much appreciated for the help.

Did you get a hole in the exhaust system on that long trip? My truck will make a similar hollow sound when the nuts holding the down tube to the exhaust header loosen from time to time. It's not like the tic-tic-tic sound of a bad exhaust gasket. It's not that loud with the hood open listening for it but you do hear it in the cab.
