My evaporator box is leaking water whenever i turn the A/C on. I've decided to try to tackle the job myself because the dealer wants to much to fix it. Does any one have a diagram or know how to remove the dash to get to the evaporator box? I can remove the dash only so far as to replace the radio but thats it. Oh its a 1992 ext cab pickup.

If it's anything like my 93 4Runner you don't even need to take the dash apart. At the most you will have to remove the glovebox, but you could probably even get away without removing that.

You will have to unhook the 2 lines coming into it from the engine bay though. If I remember right there were 4-5 bolts holding it up there.
