i recently bought a 85 ex cab pick up that was sitting for over 4 years.
fresh gas and it passed our smog tests up here first try. didnt even change the oil, plugs etc. just drove it until the tank was empty, put fresh gas in and took it in.


a couple years ago i bought a 85 4 runner that wasd last insured in 1997. i had to swap engines and i put a cat in it cause the original was missing. but it passed as well. It passed even though i put a carb'd 22r with no egr in place of the 22re thats supposed to be in there.
