i went with the very basic xrc8 to stick with the idea of a CHEAP winch. if its a junker i want to be out as little money as possible. i live in maine so as a rule where i wheel theres always a tree right there...often the reason your hung up. if i have to double the line every time thats what i gotta do. its gonna be an experiment. and the op's sas yota on 36's is a hell of a lot heavier than my ifs rig on 33 pizza cutters.

did you relocate the solenoid? or are you running it on top of the winch still. mine just came in and im debating if i want to mount it on top. the box itself seems somewhat weather tight
