Ah yes, the days when I still had a diesel off road rig were wonderful. Stand in it and watch the black smoke roll. There was something bad @$$ about going up an incline with 123:1 reduction and smoking like a fiend....... *sigh*

cheers guys, im loving it, when these tyres are in need of replacing i'll be jumpin to 33's so im looking forward to that, gonna stick with the BFG's too, kinda annoyed im nearly finished all the things that needed TLC, really enjoyed fixing it up

We have one of those on each side of the tailgate from the factory on every 90 or 91 4runner (or hilux surf to you) that was fitted from the factory with a swing-out tire carrier. They function as a reverse light. Oh, and what we call 'driver's side' you call 'passenger's side'.

I actually want your exact tails, and in your case, I would keep it stock. Unfortunately, nobody makes anything but pure white (and I'm not sure those are even road-legal) lenses for the 90-95 hilux surf here in the US either, so for a cool looking tail lamp I have to order from the U.K. I was merely illustrating that it is MUCH harder for us to find ourselves a toyota diesel in the US than it is for you to find yourself a white lens!

lol...cheers, yeh i reckon i'll keep it red, so you have 2 where as i only have one, and its its a fog light, i checked that yesterday eve....this 4runner is gonna eventually be black as im gonna have it full body wrapped with my companies logo, hopefully have that done within 2 weeks so i'll get photos up then, it will look similar to this, this is my old runaround, a 06 hyundai tucson 2.0 litre diesel

yeh, was a bit of a jump....have a motocross track near me, brought the hyundai up and handled it "ok"...then brought the yota up and......well.......not one thing it couldnt do
