left side as in drivers side? Could be coming from the water pump inlet/outlet deep in behind the alternator... the gasket cracks. Get some Barrs Stop Leak, I bought the block seal, it seals all major gaskets, etc and it worked great.

DO NOT use stop a leak crap. I used it once. Fixed my leak for like 3 weeks, then I was fishing out all that crap with a chopstick. Then my radiator had a catastrophic failure......

when describing 'left' or 'right' when talking about anything on a vehicle, please give a reference point such as the intake side, or exhaust side, or 'on the left when standing in front of the truck, looking at the engine' or similar.
Saying simply either "left" or "right", or "driver's" or "passenger's", doesn't mean diddly since we don't know where you were standing, etc. or if you have left or right hand drive.

Actually, the vehicle has only one front, one rear, one left, and one right side.

The vehicle has one front, one rear, one PASSENGER, and one DRIVER side. To some people, especially when talking about the engine bay (since you are facing the engine from the opposite direction from driving position) it could actually have two different lefts and two different rights, depending on what way you are facing the vehicle.... But all good Toyota fans know that Toyota refers to left and right as if sitting in the drivers seat. So, passenger side and drivers side are probably the best terms to use to avoid any confusion.

My best guess would be the water pump. There isn't really much else that's going to leak like that on the passenger side. Time to do the timing belt & associated stuff too as long as you're in there.

your mystery leak sounds like the exact same one that I had on mine.. Mechanic found it to be the Heater Core and since it is summer right now, I dont need heat, so he took the lines off and hooked them together, waa laa, leak is gone.. I would check the heater core!!
