My Camo Paint-job... *pics*

Purchased this truck about a week ago, I`ve been busy doing fixing the mechanicals (shocks, tuneup, diffs, etc) and figured I`d have a little fun with the paint. I prefere free-hand camo and this is my first time. Opinions/critisize okay with me. I do plan to add some more black, tho... I HATE black. The girlfriend says I'm a idiot for wrecking the white paint... what do you guys think??

If you lived in Tucson, I would have left it white. But since you DON'T live in Tucson, I think the camo is a lot more interesting and kinda cool.

I think it looks kind of cool...but then again, I'm an ex-Army guy so I like camo on anything. The bumpers have to be replaced though.....

I like the big chunks. A lot cooler than stenciling maple leaves on there. On the other hand, the chrome bumpers kinda defeat the camo. Sorta

Paint the mirrors, door handles, grille, tailgate bezel and window trim flat black, and get some plated/tubed bumpers. Dont forget some black rims too

It'll really make the paint POP. Chrome just looks ridiculous on Camo.

I say do it all in OD. You should have kept the white. But seeing as you already did it, not bad. You have Moxie to take that leap.

I've got the 2inch OME coils in, cranked torsions and 33-12.5-15 on some nice offset eagles. Quite a difference since I bought it 2 weeks ago. I've got a 3inch body lift on order too I also got the bush bumper all painted up and installed tonite, now I just gotta find a good deal on some lights and a roof-bar... endless possiblities. Tomarrow I'm going to replace the u-joints on the drive-shaft and look into balljoint options without spending a arm and a leg :S I've got lots of highway driving coming up, so nice to get all the maintence done before-hand.

do more with the camo. it looks tacky. but with a little more time in the camo paint room... it will be okay. needs more black. a tiny bit more color clashing is needed. i like the big splotches but things like tan coming off both headlight seems planned.. not camo. looks like eyebrows... and paint yer damn bumper. truck and camo would look so much better with a flat black bumper! it is a good start for the paint. keep goin.
