(1986 22re) Ok I first posted under bad injector but I have replaced it, and it has not helped. I checked the compression and it is good as well, reads at 178. Basicly it seems that the #3 is not getting fuel at idle. What could be causing this? I know I have spark and like I said I replaced the injector.

 

Have you verified its operation? I use a long screw driver and put my ear up to it. You should hear it ticking away.

The wiring harnesses in these trucks are starting to fail do to age. Toyota discontinued the harnesses right after production and they haven’t been available for years
