My back window goes up and down fine with the key and goes up fine with the console switch. It goes down fine with the console switch, UNLESS I raise the window all the way to the very top (last inch). At any other position, the window goes up and down with the console switch.

FWIW, I removed the rear wiper arm, it was badly rusted and usless. This problem predates the removal of the wiper arm. Should I just ground the switch and call it a day?
