naw never heard that tapping sound. just the valves tapping as usual. I felt the chain guides and they were a bit loose but not supper bad.. its at the mechanic rite now probly just gonna end up throwing a new engine in... i think the engines had its time haha

 

speaking of timing chains and tapping....i got a knocking/tapping sound between 2k-3500 rpm....can the chain do that? and it also doesnt do it if im either all the way in the throttle or all the way off...just if im trying to maintain speed...i am fearing the worst in that it may be a rod....
