Marlins rollcage? who runs it in the pickup?
Im looking to install Marlins rollcage...i think anyway. I ahvent looked at any other companies yet. My question is...Is this bolted to the floor or welded? I was going to have a shop weld it all together, than take it home and bolt it in. It seems like it gets weldeed together in peices, than you assemble the peices in the can and mount it. Opinions?

it should go to the frame.
ps. if you have em weld it outside the cab, and then try to stuff it in youll have a hell of a time lol I think its meant to all be welded and assembled in the truck

some parts are to be welded outside the truck i believe. i once looked at getting this or all pros its basicaly the same design. if i were you i would cut holes in the body and put a sleve inside the cage and tie it into the frame. thats the safest way. I would also weld and bolt the flat bar provided to the body the internal cage just bolted would be like a one time save your life kind of thing. you can turn it into a real strong cage by adding gussets and be sure to tie it into the frame thats a must

its a good idea to have one for whatever kind of wheelin you do. just to make it safer it would be a real smart idea to tie it into the frame. its abit more to do but a good/smart idea.
