Just wondering if any of you have any ideas on making the rear window on a first gen 4runner roll up and down faster. I am just nitpicking here and would like to see if any of you have done anything that rolls it up and down faster. Bigger motor or thicker wire that carry more power, or something.

I'm pretty sure she's right along with all 4runners of her age, but my 99 4runner smokes the window rolling to the top and down.

It was a few years ago, but I do recall a thread about this. I know the relays that are back there were replaced with better ones from radio shack or something like that. I've actually been meaning to look that thread up anyway, so I'll post the link when (if) I find it.

Lubricate the regulator

spray the rubber with silicone spray on a regular basis.

new motor if yours is old and getting tired.
