Looking for exhaust shop around Boulder CO
I need to replace my exhaust from the cat back and am looking for a reputable exhaust shop in the Boulder area. I have a welded cat and want a shop to chop off the existing pipe behind the cat and weld in some new tube and a muffler. Post your recommendations, good or bad, it's all useful.
Thanks

I was going to say Chaccone's in Longmont, but see someone already has. I have used them and they are good. They are right on Main just south of the RR on the east side. I have also used Ken's muffler in Longmont and have been pleased with them. If you have other work and looking for a good import garage try Lafayette imports in Teline in Erie or Cooper automotive on public road in Lafayette.

I think it's called A&A Performance Muffler in Denver (Broadway just south of Hampden). I know it's not in the People Republic or really close, but they did a great job on the 3" full exhaust for my Bronco. He even honored a price he gave me 2 years previous. If I remember correctly, I think my bill when I picked it up was actually 20 or 40 bucks cheaper than the price he quoted. Good guy!

I had cat back done, all custom including muffler for $200 IIRC. Everyone I talked to said their prices were the best by far, so I didn't really shop around.
... and I mean cat -> back. The exhaust was cut off like 3" behind the cat when I did my lnks. They wove it through there, mounted it up SUPER high - very nice, exactly what I wanted. Doesn't gt hung up on anything offroad.

I second the Chacon's recommendation
So about 1 year after the initial question, I finally got the exhaust replaced. Let me second TC's recommendation and say that Chacon's in Longmont (Also called Romero's) does excellent work. They were very willing to custom bend some tubing and alter the stock exit location/style so it doesn't get hung up on rocks any more.
I paid $147 for a stock style muffler (I had it loud for 10 years I was ready for it to be quite again) and custom bent tubing from the cat back. Took about an hour and they did it on a Saturday.
Thanks TC!
