Looking for bolts
ok so i have some broken bolts on the underside of my runner and i was wondering if anybody new what type of thread they where and where to get replacement ones and longer ones
this it the one of the bolts that holds the tow hook in place
This one is for the tow loop thing on the other side of the truck

And this is the skid plate bolt for this one i need to get a tap as well

All three are a 1.25mm thread pitch. As far as lenghth goes the tow hook bolts are a 17mm head and 2/1/2 inches long, skid plate is also 1.25mm thread pitch and only 3/4 inch long. both hook and loop bolts are same length. Hope this helps

METRIC. definetly metric. standard bolds have a differnt thread pitch. Almost every bolt on a toyota pickup is fine thread (1.25mm). Unless u rethread to a standard u will totally goober up the bolt holes if u try to put a standard bolt in a metric size hole. My metric tap and die set had been very handy to me on my truck.

17mm head = M12-1.25xlength(mm) There are MANY bolts this size on your truck, get several spares.
Note that you need Grade 10 (or 10.9) in metric - NOT Grade 8 (or 8.8)! I doubt your local harware store will have them - I've always had to order them from Fastenal.
