loctite during engine assembly

Should I use removable strength loctite on every bolt when I assemble my engine? Or are there just certain bolt that need it?

good one

You know that is a good question, I put thread sealer on any bolts that are getting corroded. If they were clean when they came out then they go back in the same way.

I am very recently in the habit of retorqing all engine bolts after initial 200 mile breakin following dissasembly as I found some have slackened up in the past so maybe locktite on the last 2 or 3 threads wouldn't be a bad idea.

who the hell knows, was probably me not tightening more bolts

minimizing distractions in the workplace can benefit more than anything else

very recent good advice I have formulated
