I was actually going to make a response but you are full of crap. You have not started even one thread on torsion bars. No wonder you didnt get any good advice.

Dont crap where you eat.

I've noticed an increase in "thread police" presence lately by members...people need to quit trying to be mods and lighten up a little...

This is supposed to be a fun sport...

and yea, the search button kicks ass....USE IT

In response to the "P" word.. You have to be very careful of what you ask on the pirate boards.. They are just waiting to flame the hell out of someone that doesn't possess all the klnowledge that they may have... A simple question will very quickly turn into a, " youre a ing retard dumbass mother er off and buy a civic"... This is not personal experriance, just waht ive seen on the board... aThis board is alot more "forgiving" when it come to remedial questions....

once again not listening to what im saying the tbars were an example. also someone said they looked up my screen name and I only had 2 posts that should prove how poor the search feature is. I am not trying to be a mod or a smart ass or whatever name you want to call me. once again I appreciate the help. The whole point of this was to show how much people DONT READ the whole post and just start responding and going off on tangents. that should be evident if you simply scroll up and start at the beginning and go from there down its called cronological order it exists for a reason.

I agree on the thread police, we got some real rude people around here these days. but get past them, and there is sooo much to read.

Good luck with the T-Bars.

and FYI, being an electrical engineering student, I could only imagine that you would have natural curiousity for why and how things work. I really enjoy the theory these guys give me. Sometimes I feel as though I don't know hardly anything about trucks or cars, till I get to talking to someone and the tons of knowledge bestowed upon me by my fellow YotaTecher's flows off my tounge as if I were a damn good mechanic. 3/4's of my education as far as drivetrains and simple vehicle systems has come from this VERY site. and I've gotten lots and lots of good advice in the process. Dig a little deeper and you'll be able to make the connections to solve your problem, just sometimes one has to think a bit. It's better that way.

Part of my reason that I am gonna be an engineer as well...

I'm a real rude person.

As for not reading the posts, you might get better luck punctuating and paragraphing. Its not a novel, but a big mass of words with no sentence structure is difficult to read through. If you want simple answers, post simple questions.

good point I do suck at english thats why i went for engineering. Also its hard to maintain sentence structure when you are frustrated because everyone is mad at you cause they think you are saying the site sucks or whatever other garbage they twist my words to say. As for the simple I never asked a question. I made a statement, more of an observation really. I simply noticed alot of threads where someone asks a simple question and gets 15 posts none of which are remotely related to the topic of the original thread, never getting an answer. I have noticed on this thread however that some of you do pay attention and gave me simple answers. Thank you I knew you were out there somewhere. I am sorry if I pissed some people off that was not my intention. I have a curious mind and a big mouth and feel it is my duty as a user to try to help make this site as friendly and efficient as possible. By the way I tightened them a while back again that was just an example. Thank you for your criticism I appreciate it very much. If you cant take it and improve yourself then you shouldnt give it out.

No they do not! 86-95 are the only years that they were used.

I love answering my own questions!

crap. well it worked when i first tried it. if you go to advanced search under 86-95 trucks, search titles only for Torsion and you get 43 replies. No, they arent all how to adjust them, but if you just roll the mouse over the title, you will get the basic info from the Original poster. i agree that searching around here is difficult, but dont give up. more than likely someone has had the exact same question.

That was me.

You don't get a "get out of semi-proper English" card for free because you are in engineering. I'm an MSME.

Whoa... wait a minute.. you are an engineering student and you don't want to know the theory behind the practice?!?!?!? You might wanna change majors because your contemporaries are going to engineering circles around you.

Anyway, you post up and get what you get. It's that way for us all.

Personally, I love all the theory that I get here. I'm not happy unless I know why it works. Normally, from what I find, the theory comes right after a "try this" answer. For example, when I asked about the IFS, I was told to tighten the previously said bolt to raise the suspension, but the theory that followed suggested that it might not be the best Idea in the way of ride quality. But if you're gonna tighten it, remember: Righty tighty, lefty loosey...
