Leveled Out My 94 4runner

Just finished test driving it after putting new shocks and leveling springs in it, and man what a difference!!! The ride is so much better and it looks great too. I bought all-pro leveling springs, doetsch tech mv12's out back, and bilstein's up front. rides amazing and really soaks up the bumps. I will try and post some before and after pics when the daylight comes around.

Have you actually taken measurements? You do know the rear fender sits lower than the front on 4rnr's, don't you?

I was just about to say the same thing. The rear fenders of the 4Runner are lower than the fronts. Adding a set of taller springs made a huge difference on mine in terms of looks. Had to re-aim the headlights after!

you know, after the last couple posts, I went out and looked again and all of the body lines are level straight accross and the top of the fender looks pretty much straight with them too. so really it is level, but as you said the rear fender is a little lower than the front. thanks for that point

So did you just buy the 10" travel MV12 shocks? What vendor did you get them through, Downey?

It looks to me like the gas charged Bilsteins lifted the front a bit. Is that your take as well?

actually my front end has always been about that high. they are actually surprisingly soft shocks it least when you push on it. it doesn't feel any stiffer ride wise. My truck has more body roll than it used to with the new set up, but it tracks better and feels more in control. a buddy and i went down through some bumpy chopped up road by a construction site (comparable to a fire road) and it was a piece of cake to do 45+ (cough) on it.

hey, i live in northgate and have a set of black steel wheels with good wild country AT's (31x10.5) i can sell you for super cheap, just don't need em anymore...went with 16's. email if interested: michalik_piotr@yahoo.com it would look good and do better off road and when you get your 33's you can always sell these and make your money back.
