leaky transfercase

as the title says my transfercase has been leaking, and cant figure out were or why.
it seems to be mostly on the right side (looking from back of car forward) but not in any specific location or spot. it leeks without me using four wheel drive

when i checked it was a quart and a half low, after i filled it up i sprayed the out side of it so that it was bone dry. in about half month the whole thing was wet again.

the only thing i can think of is that it dosent have gaskets, it is sealed with silicone, and i think it might of gotten old and cracked,

what do you guys think?

Take it apart and put some gray RTV gasket material on it for a gasket, or get a gasket material sheet and make your own
