Knock sensor confusion

That "Toyota" die stamped into the body of the sensor bugs me. I don't recall that being done.
Usually the manufacturer stamped their logo on the body to show who actually made it, and Toyota did not make sensors or senders. They had vendors for that. If a vendor ever had to recall a defective part(and it happened from time to time) they'd want to be able to identify the ones they made.
My guess, and it's only a guess, is the one on the right is a knock off. Would I bet the farm? No. But I'd throw a $20 down.

So I think I should just use my old sensor, the new one didn't really put any volts when doing a knock test, it would only spike when the negative would touch it but never during the test
my old sensor tested one knock at 3.5 volts and the second at 5.5 volts I think it's safe to say to use my old sensorb
