Killer Vacuum Leaks

I have an 88 toyota pickup with a 22re engine i have fallowed all the vacuum diagrams online but i am still missing a few. the book doesnt cover all of them. can anyone please post pics of the same efi intake manifold. i have an open hole that none of the other vacuum lines will fit onto (the hole is too wide) thank you

Best thing is to get a factory service manual (FSM) and check out all the chapters and come up with how things are supposed to be connected and what each line is supposed to do. That is how I did my engine.

you know what sucks... not being able to read any of the diagrams... maybe thats why im not a contractor... just read em carefully and try not to mix up any vacuum lines...

thank you guys the one i need is only in one of the pics off pirate but i cant tell where it goes i looked all under the efi manifold but no clue where can i check out one of these factory service manuals

Go to www.ih8mud.com and look in the FAQ there are links to FSMs for a range of years. They are also on 4x4wire and may even be here as well.

check the power steering pump some have a idle up valve on them and the hose is slightly bigger then the other lines.

ya so i found out that it actually wasnt a vacuum leak and it turned out to be the egr valve i got to figure out where to put the end of the vacuum line goes could it affect my idle that much it sounds like its retarded but all the timing is on i checked

The EGR and modulator lines are all labeled and connections are fully documented in the Factory Service Manual.

i fixed all my vacuum lines but now i am stuck with an exhaust leak but dont know where ist coming from. i checked all the egr bolts and the manifold bolts they are all tight. the plate on the back is tight as well i am stumped
