Jumped terminals E1 and T nothing happens!

So like I said, I'm jumping terminals E1 and T and it is not changing idle on my 88 runner 22re. The check engine flashes codes so that part is working. I've adjusted my tps and played with my idle still nothing. Also my Fp to B+ is not running my fuel pump. Checked voltage on Fp and nothing is coming out. Why is this hapening? I checked the circuit open relay and it only clicks when starting engine and running engine. Not when switched on. But would this effect the timing terminals? Please help Ice been trying to solve this since my rebuild.

Thanks for the reply but 88's dont have a Te1 just a T. I've got the fsm for 88. I have been doing electrical tests for about 8 hours and have found something strange in my AFM. The book says that voltage should change on terminals VS and E2, but i am reading 12 volts across all angles of the air flapper. Book says it should be .5 - 2.5 volts with flapper closed, 5 - 10 fully open, and 2-8 volts idling, but again i get 12 volts no matter what. i did a resistance check on the afm and everything checked out. I even bypassed all the wires incase there was a fused wire with the power wire by just hooking power onto the vb terminal and still there is 12 volts. I think this might be effecting my terminal jumps b/c the computer cant see it idling b/c it would have to be in the 2-8 volt range? Right? but even then i jumped a wire between the E1 and FC terminal on the wire harness side of the afm to keep the fuel pump running and then jumped a wire with 4 volts onto the ECU side of where the VS wire inputs to trick the computer into thinking it was idling but still no change when i jump E1 and T. I am stumped.
