Rad is suggesting in a tongue in cheek kind of way that it's helpful to give us all the details of the vehicle we're trying to help diagnose. Year, engine, transmission, mileage etc.

Include info about your truck in your signature, some members don't know the vehicle you have.

Did this truck sit??? And I do mean sit without running for a month or more??? Open the gas tank and smell, Kerosene or alky gas? If you can pull the pump and look at the gasoline with a flashlight. if it looks rusty or dark or anything foul ....... the pump is toast. real cheap on ebay, shop around for the right one. They do not last once wet, the alky gas kills'em fast. Yours may be just a spent case.

Yet another inconclusive "solved" problem

OP, it helps the people with similar issues if you give details. Otherwise we/they are left to make assumptions. .

Did you have power (voltage and current) at the pump, was it a corroded wire or connection or a truly blown pump (no continuity from pump terminals)..

Sorry, yea the truck sat for about a year. My problem was

engine cranks, no fuel to motor. I jumped the diagnostics box under the hood next to the fuse block. I did not hear a pump run. I know there are other steps and maybe a diff Oder to diagnose the issue but I had easy access to top of the fuel tank and with the diagnostics plug jumped I had power to the connection for fuel pump but it wasnt on. So I just bought a replacement and the pump works
