Yes, LED taillights are back in, they are a lot more noticeable from the back which is better with the city driving. The short throw is such a great improvement from stock, one of the best bang for the $$ I've spent on my truck.

No, I bought a 2002 subaru wrx wagon -matches my wifes 2011 forester - Very nice little car, bought it from the original owner. When I originally bought my truck and built it, I was living in Fort St. John, 5 minute drive to work, odd trip to the lakes with kayaks, odd trail ride. Now that I'm commuting 45 minutes to work - 45 minutes back, it lacks the creature comforts a baby like me wants. My scooby has heated seats, a kick butt heater, remote start, rides awesome, awd. Back home, I could drive for 10 minutes in any direction and be at a lake or on the trails, here I've yet to find some trails or even a lake that isn't at least an hour or more away. I miss my truck already, however as I lean into my 50's, I don't enjoy bouncing around in a truck like I used to, guess that's how things go sometimes!

Hope you keep checking in once in awhile. Always enjoyed seeing your truck and how it came along. One of my friends just got married and had to sell his WRX. It was a cool little car but his hot rodding days are over for a while. A truck comes in handy so wouldn't be surprised to see you back in another yota soon.

I'm genuinely sad you sold your truck! I love your build thread and really appreciate all the time you put into documenting your work and thoughts on your truck.

You'll be back.

So I was just surfing YT and I found this build! I thought it was pretty crazy because I bought this truck earlier this spring. It is cool to see all the work JohnnyCanuck put into the truck. I don't wanna hijack the thread but this is how the truck sits right now.
Lots of work done to it since,
New front fenders and fender flares (smashed pass side on a tree)
New ball joints
New Passenger side CV axle
New Idler arm and Pitman arm
New rear axle housing W/ E-Locker
New rear brake lines (braided stainless)
New rear axle bearings
New rear leaf spring bushings
Just finished a complete paint job with Endura EX-2C primer and topcoat.
New Boxliner (U-Pol Raptor)
New rock sliders
New front bumper
Also a few more things I probs forgot. I will try to find time to start my own thread with pics and progress. Just wanted to show Johnny that his truck is still tickin' and being taken care off.

For as saddening it is to know Johnny sold the truck, I really like what you've done with it, new-Johnny's-truck-owner. Definitely post a build thread!

That is a great looking turck and sounds like it has gone to a great new owner. Looking forward to your build thread on it. Bet you enjoyed reading what it went thru before you got it. Welcome to Yotatech.
